3ds max composite material tutorial

INTRODUCTION
COMPOSITE MATERIAL

Hy friends,

Today, We learn that how to use composite material in 3d studio max.The composite material mixing ten different types of materials it is use adding, subtracting or mixing the opacity for compositing. The composite basic parameters roll out has  selection of the base material and nine additional materials its all additional material can be composite on to the base material. The materials are applied from top to bottom.

You also enable or disable each material using the check box ( left side ) The button labeled with the letters A, S and M specify the opacity type. A,S and M means Additive,Subtractive, and mix. here default additives option by 3ds max.

The additive option brightness the material by adding the background colors to the current material.

The subtractive option has the opposite effect and subtracts the background colors from the current material.

The mix option blends the materials.

To the right of the A, S, and M buttons is the mix amount. The range of this amount between  0 to 200. 0 means none of the material below it will be visible. At 100, full compositing occurs. if this value going to more than 100, material go to transparent regions to become more opaque.this material also similar to MIX map but different is between this mix map becomes object mix two map and composite  material opaque two material.

KEEP LEARNING :)
